I left the window of the spare room open last night and now all the killer moths are in here trying to eat me.
Someone please help.

Awful. A moth tried to kill me the other night. It just kept flying at my head. I wonder if that moth to a flame thing works…

Carolyn hates them with a burning passion. She thinks that they are like demon butterflies.
She has a point though. It’s freaky that when you squish them…er… i mean that when they get squished… they are like powder.

It IS strange that such made-of-powder things can have such a devastating effect on all things wool-based: the carpet on the stairs, cushion covers, blankets put away to use at another time……why were moths invented????? (and mosquitos, and daddy-longlegs, and small flying things in general - apart fron the obviously useful ones like butterflies and bees, of course!)

I like moths! I admit they can be a pain some times, but actually I think they are good looking insects, just a good as butterflies if you look at them up close. Andy, I have a plan for you tho to get rid of the moths from your house. On Springwatch (the BBC thing), they put a big white sheet in the garden at night, and shone bright lights at it. Then every single moth in Europe landed on the sheet. So if you do that, the moths in your spare room will leave…however, you will have many many moths in your garden.
My gran smells of moth balls.

I take exception, Pete, to your comment about your gran - we grandmas stick together you know. What offends one offends all. ‘No grandma is an island’ and all that.

My grandma’s in Ireland.
I was going to reply to Susie on the other thread but wasn’t sure if anyone would read that far back. But I am still here, and Andy didn’t eat me. Unless I’m Andy hacking in to Mat’s (mine) profile and pretending? I’m not. Honest.
I was on holiday in sunny Spain for 2 weeks, it was nice! Barcelona’s amazing, I urge anyone to go there and see all the cool buildings. We had an industrial revolution, they had people like Gaudi designing all their buildings, and their city looks tons better than any of ours!
I hope the dedication was good, I wanted to come but was blocked by France and the channel.
Susie, with regards to your driving test you could get drunk before you take it? You’d still fail, but you’d be able to laugh about it! I don’t think you should give up though, every time you fail you learn something, and I think it’ll make you a better driver when you do pass because you’ll be making sure you do everything right.

Gaudi’s so cool! I love the roof-top garden bit and the building with the ‘monster’ balconies and….all of it actually! I visited just after the Olympics were there, so seeing the huge stadium just afterwards was cool too!
By the way, I will send photos when I get round to it (too late today!).
