We’ve come a long long way together

Hey folks!

It’s a special day for all of you. In my continuing benevolence, I’ve decided to post for only the second time. I’ll pause one moment to accept your applause.

<pause for applause>

Ok. Now that’s taken care of, I thought I’d tell you about my day. Mostly, it’s been uneventful. However, moments ago I caused a car crash. This is impressive for two reasons.

1. I don’t drive.

2. I wasn’t anywhere near the road.

Here’s what happened. It had been raining, but it stopped. Some people, idiots to use the correct terminology, keep their umbrellas up. I’m a tall guy and she was a small girl (the forementioned idiot). I batted (gently) her umbrella away from my vunerable eyes and she let her grip loosen. The wind then picked up the umbrella and blew it into the road. It then flew onto a bus windshield, blocking the drivers view. He applied the brakes, too late to stop him hitting the car in front, but without enough warning to prevent the bus behind colliding into it’s rear.

This sounds implausibe and ridiculous. However, it did happen. Everyone was very shocked except for the twentysomething male stood on the pavement laughing his head off.

    Coming from you there is nothing implausible and rubbish about that in any way. Wre you the twentysomething male laughing?

  2. Susie says:

    I put ‘and rubbish’, when you said ‘and ridiculous’. Apologies. I also missed out an e.

    Yes… I was the 20something giggling like a school girl by the side of the road. The woman with the umbrella was not remotely impressed. She went to get her umbrella back and bus driver yelled at her! haha

    Ha ha ha…

    All that’s missing from this story are some blind nuns and then it would be perfect Jonny!
