Hey folks,
It’s Friday afternoon and I’ve finally decided to post. Why? Because I damn excited.
Too much cursing for a first post? Get used to it. I’m like the sex pistols of Andy’s blog.
Anyways, I’m excited because I have 3 whole days of freedom next week. It’s nearly my birthday so I’m gonna blow 3 days of annual leave (wed/thurs/fri). Carolyn is kindly taking me to London on thurs/fri next week, which means that Wednesday is all mine. Carolyn is working - so I have the day to myself.
I will probably spend all day sat on the budda bag playing on the ps3. But is that quite exciting enough? Any suggestions as to what I can do during my 8 hours of freedom? Rules are:-
It can’t last longer than 8 hours - but we can spend the whole of Carolyn’s first paycheck.
Hey - you could come to a Strategic Leadership of ICT in Primary Schools course… Although that will last more than 8 hours. And it wouldn’t involve any of Carolyn’s first pay check. But it is Manchester so you wouldn’t have to travel far.

Susie, I came across Missy Higgins when I was in Australia, and she is great. She’s got a couple of albums, think I slightly prefer the new one, but they’re both good. She sings with a funny Australian accent though.
I was going to write specifically “Mat you’ll real;ly like her” but then I might be presuming just because you like Gemma Hayes. But I was right! I was upset that she has 2 albums as I have no money. Still, I do have broadband in my room so as long as I’m in my room I can listen to the new one!

Why is it Jonny that you’re more excited about a day off on your own with the PS3 rather than a trip to London courtesy of moi? Maybe I’ll cancel the trip and we can stay in and play on the PS instead?
Jonny, I have a suggestion. You can go to http://www.mat-tanner.com and order a lot of copies of my new EP. Not sure what Carolyn’s paycheque is, but it’s only £3, so you could get a few and if you did each one individually it would take about 8 hours!

Also - I didn’t answer Kate’s question about being up so late. The answer is I can’t remember. I don’t sleep too well so sometimes I play on the blog to send me to sleep. Honestly - it’s pretty dull on here at 12:30am.
