Desktop Tower Defence
Ok… the joy of not really having a job means I get a bit of time to play on silly games. Not a lot mind as obviously I am busy trying to sort out what I am actually going to do with my life… but sometimes I play on Desktop Tower Defence.
It’s a bit addictive once you get into it. If you finish the Medium difficulty you get to submit your score. My league is called ‘andland’. I’m winning as I’m the only person in my league at the moment but if any fancies trying to beat me that would be grand - I can’t over 7000 and I would like to know how to…
Thanks.

I just had a go on it, I can see how it could become very addictive! Just as well I spend most of m time with out the internet
I got bored the other day while working on a presentation before discovering desktop defence) so started taking photos of my hand. Then, by converting them to black and white, and boosting the contrast, they actually look (i think) quite good. Have a look at them here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2894&l=fa46d&id=272400198
They do look good. But also, you have the hands of an eighty year old man! :p
Pete - you do wedding photography right? Is there a limit to how far you’ll travel??
Kate are you and Neil engaged?!
Also, has anyone told you the Crows gig is postponed til May? It would be a long way for you to come up only to find we were all sat at home playing BopIt. (that was a bit random comment….I dont know why we’d be playing BopIt)
Susie we don’t even own a BopIt. We’d be playing Aladin on the Sega Megadrive!
We need BopIt.
I’m buying Ben a BopIt for Christmas, mainly to annoy my brother!
Yes, we are - he proposed on Wednesday - hurrah!!
Hi Kate, congrats on your news! I can travel for weddings, where will you be getting married…and when? Have a look at some of the weddings I have done in the ‘photos’ section of my website petesmithimages.co.uk , and send me an email if you want to discuss things further
Andy, thanks for letting me use your blog to arrange business
How typical is this…I have had a great internet connection all weekend in Hull, which I have mainly used for facebook and iplayer. Today, when I actually felt very motivated to do some genuine work, research into a project I am doing, the internet is been very very slow, so I can’t search for and download the research papers I need. Our connection goes rubbish every Sunday, I should start doing my research on a Saturday in future.
Maybe you have a God-fearing internet connection that considers Sunday to be its day of rest…
Loving the pics - we’re getting married in Somerset in August or September next year - haven’t finalised the date yet. I need to have a chat with Neil but will be in touch.
Pete - no worries - but we agreed a 10% cut I think? When I say we agreed I don’t mean agreed so much as “I decided”… still… you’ve gotta play by the rules.
Congratulations Kate and Neil. It’s funny - I was thinking about you two a day or two before your thinly disguised announcement on the blog and just kind of wondering if you had any plans!
Also, Pete, sorry about my mercenary son - maybe he’s not got as much work as he’d like at the minute!
Thanks Mum! It has been in the offing for a while - I still can’t quite believe it’s actually real!
