A scam…

Posted on 25th March 2008 by Pete

This is just a brief one…

Ive just realized that I have been scammed, so I thought I would warn you all against it. I got my business cards for ‘free’ from a website called vista print. I only had to pay about £3 postage for the cards. However, they have taken £9.95 from my account each month for the last 2 months. I’ve found some blogs of other people with the same problem. I am going to complain to them and try to get them to stop and to get a refund, but I might end up having to change my card or something…DO NOT BUY any ‘free’ items from vista print!

Yeah - I’ve heard of a few people being caught out by this. Something in the sign up says something along the lines of “you will also be signed up for … service” the … service is free for the first month but then you have to tell them you don’t want to carry on with the service you didn’t actually want in the first place.

    It’s very rude.

Oh no. Having posted that I now feel guilty that I didn’t say anything when I first heard about it.

Pete, I’d blame Andy for this. Sue him. (is that how you spell sue?)

  • Pete

Andy, I do blame you. I will sue the money from you, and legal fees. However, you can then keep the money as payment for been my web designer

    Susie - it’s spelt t-r-a-n-s-f-e-r-l-o-t-s-o-f-m-o-n-e-y-t-o-h-i-s-a-c-c-o-u-n-t.

It’s one of those words that isn’t spelt how you might think. Like diarrhoea.

Andy, did you have to look up how to spell diarrhoea before you wrote that post, or is it one of those words you just know how to spell? Like haemorrhoids.

  • Andy

    And ‘the’.
