How bizarre - I just finished my post under Amazon and there Isaac was! Many congratulations - love the name (was on our short-list!).
So how much did he weigh - and what time was he born?!

I’m amazed by how quickly I’ve stopped thinking of Isaac as Amazon - I really thought it was going to be a problem!
Almost everyone in my workplace has seen the photo on my phone - they all think he’s lovely and several people have commented on what a good name it is.
I think it will be a girl born at 03.45 on 18th June weighing 12lbs. Am I close? And I bet you choose a biblical name like ‘Revelation’ or ‘Acts’.
Who is the official sweepstake judge?! Or will we never know, like The Stig?
I’m not happy about this judge thing. Mainly because if it weren’t for the judge, I’d win. I’ve checked.

I am getting the train to Sheffield tomorrow so it will not be long before the grand annoucement is made - let’s be honest, that’s more exciting than the actual baby…. (I don’t mean that before anyone tells me off…)

Just feel I should clarify that (following my earlier post) I don’t think Z has a superior name to Isaac - it just doen’t fit as well with a one-syllable surname. Just wanted to be clear about that. Is that clear enough? Do you think so?
Its perfectly clear. I also get now why Kate is the judge, seeing as she’s the one paying and all. Flipperr, I have really been trying to work out when I can get over to Hastings one Saturday before I leave but its looking less and less likely. I really wanted to visit you guys! Now there is a nephew to try and visit too so I think I probably won’t be over to Hastings.
I love how the sweepstake is still the highlight of the blog/Isaac! When I asked Andy how much he weighed I was merely doing the polite baby questions thing. But Andy’s immediate reply was “the sweepstake will have to wait for a few days”. Brilliant!
Where’s Pete? Does he know about Isaac? He’s not said anything. Very rude.
Andy, congratulations! Gloria, well done! I was going to say congratulations and well done to you both, but Andy didn’t actually have to do anything (other than 9 months ago). I hope it all went well, really pleased for you both, you can just enjoy him now!
Also, now all you need to do is have two more called Taylor and Zach, and you can have the new Hanson!

Firstly, hope the little man is letting you sleep now that the euphoria is starting to subside a bit.
2ndly: Andy - Matt’s quietness is partly what attracted me to him - I think we complement each other well speech-wise!
3rdly: Mat - The Hanson thing could be a cross-family group - we already have the Zach.
4thly: Susie - any excuse! You’ll ALL just have to come down at some point - if we don’t make it ‘up north’ first!

I just had a funny thought. Did you tell the neighbours you were having a home birth? I bet they were glad what time he was born!
Flipper, I am free on Saturday 19th July and would love to come see you guys. If that works for Hastings clan let me know and we will sort something! (I’m not just saying this because of your highly rude comment about making excuses by the way! I’ve just been doing some working out of stuff and found a free Saturday which is good!)
