Everyone’s a winner!

Posted on 18th June 2008 by Kate

Actually, you’re all losers. Except Susie. And maybe Sian and Andy. And Isaac.

So yes, the results are in and with an outstanding guess of 8lb 2oz Susie wins the Stretch and Sweepstake.

The big cash prize is winging its way to you as we speak - let us know what you choose to spend your winnings on. Don’t let your success change you.

May I be the first to congratule you on winning the competition? Also - let us know if you end up getting LOTS of Amazon vouchers rather than just one. The official presentation of the prize will take place shortly. We’re just trying to confirm the minor celebratory to present it.

  • Susie

This is so exciting! Its all rather overwhelming. I had better start writing my acceptance speech….

  • Jonny Evans

Well done Susie - you deserve it!

  • Dad

Susie - aren’t you supposed to start your speech with “I’d like to thank my parents….”?!

  • Susie

I don’t know anything about baby weight and what contributes to it. But I think if anyone I have Sian to thank. She fed him. Kate knows more about this than me though!

Isaac makes me happy. And I haven’t even met him yet. That means his brilliance is so strong it radiates all the way to Brighton. Amazon vouchers also make me happy. AND Southern Electric sent me not one but TWO energy save lightbulbs today. Bonus.

Does anyone know what congratule means? I typed it up there but I don’t know!

Congratule means you are a new sleep deprived dad!

By the way, what was the exact weight and time?…..these things are important when spreading the news - they are the first things people ask (after is it a girl/boy and what name?)!

  • Andy

Ok - 1.25pm 15th June 2008 and weight was 8lb 1oz although we think the scales were wrong!

    Hope that helps…

  • Kate

Hee hee - now I’m nearly a midwife I never ask those things anymore - I always want to know how the labour was and what position she was in to give birth and all the gory details!

(Which I have asked Gloria so no need to post on the blog Andy…)
